  My sister, daughter, and I rolled in to Agassiz around 7:30 looking for some good Western Food, Jacks caught our eye so we decided to go in. We checked the hours before we went in, we still had well over an hour before closing... Perfect.

  Stayed in Harrison Hot Springs for a week and picked up a visitor guide which had a 15% off coupon for Jack's in Agassiz. We cut it out and decided to try it out during our visit. We arrived on a Wednesday evening, restaurant was quite busy, food was good, however they didn't accept our coupon. They said that it had been placed by the previous owner. Definitely left a bad taste, not sure if we'll be back... The coupon showed that it's valid for another 6 months...

  Great food and very friendly servers, the new management is doing great. The prawns here are some of the best I've had as an avid prawns lover. The beef dip was a tiny bit dry but was still amazing. Will definitely be visiting again.

  My sister, daughter and I sat for 15 minutes. No one returned to clean the table, offer us water or any other drink, didn't ask us if we were ready to order... nothing!

  After 15 minutes we decided to wait 5 more minutes. Not to our surprise at this point, not one came by so we got up and left.

  Restaurant wasn't busy. We were seated at a dirty table even though there was clean ones available, we were told they would return shortly to clean it though so it wasn't a big problem. We Were handed our menu's, and that was the last of customer service we received.

  *2nd visit*They redeemed themself today. The fish was perfect. The tarter sauce is amazing too. Only $12 For a 3 piece! The price will bring us back!

  First time going to this resturant. It was moderatly busy, but obviously understaffed. Was given a table and menus as soon as we walked in but we waited 25 minutes without the waitress to return. We walked out, won't be back.

  *1st visit*The fish was good but very oily. There was something wrong with the batter too. Only 1 out of the 9 pieces we ordered had proper batter. It was not puffy(more wrinkly and not crispy) is the best way to describe it. Being a local, I sure hope it will be better next time as the 3, 3pieces we ordered fed 3 adults and a baby for 2 meals for $40.

  *3rd visit* The last batch of fish and chips we ordered were not good at all. Pretty much if you want fish and chips make sure the owner, Andy makes them. I called to complain but he didn't call me back.
